HK Hollow Horses - Temporary Page

I realised a quick ready reckoner was required until the full Hong Kong hollow-horse page is done (year or two yet), so here are a few un-tagged images which may help, the names are all my inventions [some] as originally delivered in Plastic Warrior magazine's 'One Inch Warrior' stablemate, pun sadly intended!

More of a scaled-down (smaller) Smoothie Remould

There are many, many versions of Smoothie and Mexican in both sizes
few are genuine, marked Giant, Mexican Small continued towing wagons
for several generations beyond Giant, often joining other horses in large/r sets

Mexican large - Lucky Clover

As per Wavymane . . . but no wave!
Seems to be good quality re-tool, but very uncommon

 

Probably (so far) only goes with post-Giant Roman types
'Spartan Warriors'

Big Ears - Both types with explanation

no maker/brand-marking at present (Tom Smith?)

Go together - the Texan will get a type-number when I've sorted them all out
you can see it's very poor quality compared to standard/stand-alone Toytown's

 

Come with late version post-Giant Romans -

Notable from similar hoses by the extra tooling on the saddle

Issued on-runner in sixes with crude Giant knock-offs
Similar to Jogging, but reversed legs.

Loosely aping the old Merten/Preiser wagon/coach teams

Cereal premium issued with small gladiator figures

In the 'long queue' - the articles which will make sense of it all, with some (but not all) sets, cards and bags, even a tin (Shackman)! Along with wagons, teepee/tipi's, a canoe, forts and other accessories.
